Tourist Information Center
- The Guilin Tourist Information Center (GTIC), a government-affiliated tourism institution, was established by the Guilin Municipal Tourism Bureau in 1994. The primary responsibility of GTIC is to offer the most authoritative professional comprehensive and current tourist information to our visitors at no charge. The GTIC’s mission is to maximize the tourism industry's social contributions to Guilin's economy development and to make your journey to Guilin a pleasant lifetime memory.
Its main service scope is as follows:-
- Consulting Service
Provide relative tourist information to foreign independent travelers, publicize national tourism industry policies and regulations, and solve any problems or difficulties that tourists meet while traveling in Guilin.
- Face to face inquiry service
Offer advice in practically all areas of tourist information, such as accommodations, sightseeing, shopping, minority nationality performances, and making transport reservations.

The Location of Tourist Booths in Downtown Guilin
Rong &Shan Lake
How to get there: you can take bus No. 1, No. 10 or No.22 to Yishu Guan (Art Museum) or Lize Qiao ( Lize Bridge) bus stop, and ask a local for the exact way to the booth.
Central Square in downtown Guilin
How to get there: you can take bus No. 1, No. 22 to Zhongxin Guangchang (Central Square) bus stop, and walk for a few minutes to get there.
Zhengyang Road
How to get there: you can take bus No. 2 to Lijiang Juyuan(Li River Theater) bus stop, then go along the street to the south end of Zheng yang Road.
Nanmen Bridge
How to get there: you can take bus No.1 or No. 2 to Nanmen Qiao(South Gate Bridge) bus stop, and walk along the Zhong shan Road for a few minutes to get there. It is near the Guilin Main Bus Station.
Lijiang International Airport
How to get there: you will find it at the Domestic Arrival Hall of Guilin Liangjiang International Airport.
Seven-Star Park
How to get there: you can take bus No. 10, No.11 or No.14 to Qixing Gongyuan(Seven-Star Park) bus stop, and then you will find it in front of the entrance to Seven-Star Park.
